      Welcome to my blog...

Since closing my photography studio on 28th Street at the end of 2006, where my business was located for 35 years, I have found many creative, worthwhile, and adventurous ways to fill my time in an attempt at enjoying my semi-retirement.

I still welcome photography business, and have been keeping quite busy filling the needs of the second and third generation of some of my loyal past clients, doing much of my work outdoors and in clients' homes and yards, and another location for studio sessions.

I've also found a unique sense of fulfillment serving the homeless community through a work program and other outreach ministries  sponsored by my church.

Grandparenting and enjoying the accomplishments of my children are some of life's most rewarding experiences. We are blessed to have a son and his wife and our grandson living near us.

We enjoy following the adventures of our son who is serving in the Peace Corps as a teacher of English in Romania, where we visited for over a month this spring, traveling in Romania and Hungary, learning about the history and customs of Eastern Europe, and photographing the ancient architecture and people and places we visited.

The majestic citadel clocktower is an awesome sight anytime during day and night.

During ancient times, the walled citadel, located in the heart of the city of Tirgu Mures, protected the citizens from their enemies. The Reformed Church is located in the center of this historic enclosure.

Sighisoara, in the heart of Transylvania, is known as the pearl of the Tarnavamare River.

While traveling between Tirgu Mures and Reghin, Romania, we had the opportunity to observe Storks recently returning from their spring migration from Africa, in the process of reclaiming and repairing their nests...
